SARMs

Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMS) are a class of compounds that selectively bind to androgen receptors in the body. Androgens are a group of hormones that include testosterone, which plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, such as muscle growth, bone density, and sexual function.

SARMS were initially developed to provide some of the beneficial effects of androgens while minimizing the unwanted side effects associated with traditional anabolic steroids. They work by binding to androgen receptors in specific tissues, such as muscle and bone, and activating the receptor to promote anabolic (muscle-building) effects.

One of the key advantages of SARMS is their selective nature, meaning they primarily target specific tissues without significantly affecting others, such as the prostate or the liver, which are often impacted by anabolic steroids. This selectivity is believed to contribute to a reduced risk of certain side effects.

SARMS have gained popularity among athletes, bodybuilders, and fitness enthusiasts as potential performance-enhancing substances due to their ability to stimulate muscle growth, increase strength, and enhance athletic performance.
